I have had terrible heartburn the whole pregnancy (hoping the old wives tale is true that lots of heartburn means lots of hair...on his head though, prefer not to have a baby with the body hair of teen wolf if ya know what I mean). Tums is harmless from what my dr told me, and it helps a ton. We buy the big container of tums from the costco (the berry flavor don't taste as chalky as the regulars). I'm pretty sure I eat more tums these days than anything else in my diet...I'm like a tums junkie. I pretty much started right away- like 6 weeks or so maybe?
